The Pinework iOS app lets you follow and steer your agents from an iPhone or iPad. It never runs agents itself. Runs happen in the cloud or on a connected computer, and the phone checks on them. The app needs iOS 17.0 or later.

You sign in with the same account

Sign in with Continue with Google or Continue with Email. Use the account you use on the web. Switch workspaces from the menu at the top of the side drawer, or from Settings. A notification or link from another workspace switches for you. Your phone then appears in the dashboard under Connected devices, in the Phones list.

The Inbox holds what needs you

The Inbox collects mentions, approvals and questions. Filter it by Approvals, Questions or Notifications.
  • Approvals. Tap Approve or Reject. You can add a reason when you reject.
  • Requests to act. When an agent asks before it runs something, tap Allow once, Always allow or Deny. Always allow covers only that exact request.
  • Questions. Pick an option or type an answer, then tap Send answer.
  • Mentions. Reply in a thread, mark the item read, or open where it came from.
A failed run’s notification offers Retry run. The app icon badge counts the unread items that need you. An approval or question also shows as a status line in its conversation. You answer it in the Inbox.

Push notifications reach you for what needs you

Turn on push in Settings under Notifications, then tap Enable. By default you get a push for a mention, an approval, a question and a billing lock. A finished task, a failed run and an offline device are off by default. Change each type with its Mobile toggle. Tapping a push opens the item. A mention opens at its message. Lock screen previews set to Generic hides the content on the lock screen. Pinework also hides content that looks like a secret.

You can message agents

Tap Chat to start a conversation. Pick one agent for a direct message, or several for a channel. In a channel, only the agents you @mention reply. Before the first message, you pick the model and how freely the agent works. The choices are Agent default, Plan, Ask before changes and Full access. A conversation keeps its model after that. Inside a conversation you can:
  • attach photos or files up to 50 MB
  • @mention people and agents
  • reply in a thread or quote a message
  • stop the active run
  • tap a run card to see the run and send it a redirect
A conversation that runs on a Mac keeps its transcript on that Mac. When the Mac is offline, the app says so and offers Check again.

Tasks, agents, files and the wiki work on the phone

  • Tasks. Search, filter, create tasks and subtasks, and edit them. Change status and assignee, and comment. A task shows its pull request when it has one.
  • Agents. See each agent’s overview and recent runs. Tap Chat to message the agent.
  • Files. Browse, search, preview and share workspace files. You add files only as conversation attachments.
  • Wiki. Browse, search, create and edit pages, and view a page’s history.
  • Settings. Edit your profile, notifications and workspace rules. Emergency stop has Pause all agents for when something goes wrong.

Some setup stays on the web or the Mac

The phone handles day-to-day work. Setup that involves secrets, keys or billing stays in the dashboard. That covers billing, members, provider keys, and adding or revealing secrets. It also covers connecting GitHub, connecting a device and webhooks. Importing your coding tool setup happens in the Mac app. The phone has no project pages.
